We sincerely apologize, but your ZR200 does not come with video editing software. All rights reserved. Computer with IEEE-1394 port6. Furthermore, installing the wrong Canon drivers can make these problems even worse.

I have not had a single problem with mine till now, it has shot great video, transfered to my main XP system with ease on firewire, and USB to use the THANKS! Thanks, doubt I'll get a response, but maybe I helped someone with my initial comments. Otherwise, the computer may not operate properly.

I suspect though that Canon, at least for the ZR200, decided it not worthwhile providing an efficient driver to allow Video capturing via USB. http://abltn.com/driver-camara/driver-camara-canon-powershot-a510.php Using outdated or corrupt Canon ZR Series ZR200 drivers can cause system errors, crashes, and cause your computer or hardware to fail. Unfortunately these items were not supplied with the camcorder. It recognizes it and works great.
